Crystal Lagoons continues to redefine urban living worldwide with its Public Access Lagoons® (PAL®) model, showcasing a tropical beach lifestyle in cities around the globe. The multinational innovation company, which boasts over 1,000 projects in various stages of development across 60 countries, is now making waves in Europe with a new venture in Seville, Spain. This Mediterranean city, renowned for its charm and attractiveness, will soon embrace a Caribbean atmosphere thanks to Crystal Lagoons’ latest project.
The upcoming complex in Seville will feature a crystalline lagoon designed for swimming and water sports, accessible to all through ticketed entry. The development will also include residential units, a hotel, stores, restaurants, and a range of commercial and entertainment facilities, delivering the quintessential PAL® experience.
Crystal Lagoons’ expansion in Europe is notable, with its presence in Spain, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, and Hungary, and ongoing projects in Murcia and the Costa del Sol. The Seville development is part of a series of European projects in collaboration with the award-winning Romanian firm Forty Management, including the recently successful Lagoon Park Bucharest.
“Seville boasts one of the best climates in Europe, allowing for year-round enjoyment of this PAL® project. It will enhance the city’s status as a top tourist destination and set a new standard of entertainment for millions of residents and visitors alike,” said Jean Pierre Juanchich, Global Business Director of Crystal Lagoons.
PAL® projects are recognized for their environmental benefits, potentially reducing the equivalent of 40% of the carbon footprint in the tourism and transportation sectors by offering beach experiences with turquoise waters and white sands close to home, thereby minimizing long-distance travel.
