Week 10 of the fantasy football season is in the books, and it was a quiet one for tight ends. Not a single tight end topped 100 yards, while only one tight end topped double-digit targets. That was Travis Kelce, who has become a PPR stud of late. Over the last three games he’s caught 32-of-40 targets. That’s over 10 receptions per game on average! He’s finished as a Top 3 fantasy tight end in each of those games, but he has lost some explosiveness, meaning he really needs this huge volume to stay a top fantasy tight end.

Mark Andrews once again found the end zone and has now had five touchdowns in his last five games an has finished Top-1l at fantasy tight end in four of his last five games. He was helped by the absence of Isaiah Likely this week, as his snaps and route participation was at his highest this season. After an awful start to the year, Andrews is now TE8 in overall PPR points.

From Week 6 on, Cade Otton has been the TE1 in PPR scoring and for the season he’s moved up to TE5. The loss of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans has pushed Otton into a huge workload and with Baker Mayfield slinging it, the situation has proved to be a huge boost for his fantasy backers. The Buccaneers get a bye this week and should get Mike Evans back, but Otton has proven himself and with nobody else stepping up and Godwin being done for the season, Otton ought to continue being a fantasy starter.

Week 11 tight end bye weeks

Trey McBride, Ja’Tavion Sanders, Theo Johnson, Cade Otton

Week 11 tight end injuries

Sam Laporta, Lions

LaPorta injured his shoulder last week and is considered day-to-day. They do face the Jaguars, with Mac Jones possibly starting, so giving LaPorta a week to heal wouldn’t be a bad move. We’ll see how much he practices this week, but he’s iffy to play either way.

Dalton Kincaid, Bills

Kincaid hurt his knee in Week 10 and tried to play with a brace, but was unable to do so. His status this week is up in the air. The Bills do have a bye week in Week 12, which could push them to rest Kincaid against the Chiefs, but it’s too early to know where he stands just yet.

Isaiah Likely, Ravens

Likely missed the Ravens Thursday night game last week with a hamstring injury. He’s had some extra time to heal, but we’ll need to learn more about his status in practices this week. If he can’t go, Mark Andrews would get a bump in playing time against the Steelers.

Week 11 tight end sleepers

Pat Freiermuth, Steelers vs. Ravens

Freiermuth doesn’t get enough targets to be a useful fantasy play week in and week out, but this week could be different. The Ravens have one of the best offenses in the league and should be able to score on the Steelers, pushing them to hurry up and throw the ball more than Arthur Smith would like. If they need to throw more, Freiermuth is the best option to see an uptick in work. He’s one of the few solid receivers underneath for Russell Wilson and the Ravens have allowed tight ends to put up good numbers on them all year, as they rank 26th in fantasy points allowed to the position.

Hunter Henry, Patriots vs. Rams

Henry had been putting up consistent numbers with Drake Maye at quarterback until last week against a good Bears defense. His previous three games he caught 8, 5, and 7 passes. This week he has a good chance to rebound at home against the Rams, who rank third-worst in allowing fantasy points to tight ends.
