Months after being roped in to temporarily take over the role of Meikie Maputla from Harriet Manamela in SABC 1’s Shame Together, veteran actor Florence Masebe is readying to bid the community of Turfloop farewell.
Masebe debuted on the show in May, following an announcement in February that Manamela would be replaced until the end of Skeem Saam’s season 12. Manamela was away from the show because she “needed to be placed on sick leave for an extended period of time”.
“It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Turfloop bunch. Thank you for the beautiful ride. See you on the next… Ndi a livhuwa (thank you). Aa!” Masebe wrote on social media as she announced her departure from the weeknight show.
