Trimbles smart antenna subscription for civil and building construction contractors
Trimble‘s DA2 GNSS smart antenna is now available globally for both civil and building construction applications through Trimble’s subscription program. Trimble’s subscription model provides contractors access to construction technology at a lower upfront cost.
Combined with Trimble Siteworks or Trimble FieldLink software, the DA2 can perform construction surveying tasks and site supervision for civil and building construction. For civil contractors, this includes pole-mount for high-accuracy grade checking, truck-mount for site supervision, and ATV-mount for progress monitoring, volume calculations, site topos, verifying as-builts, road centrelines, and more. For building contractors, this includes underground utility layout, building foundation set out, easy construction quality assurance, and more.
The DA2 leverages the Trimble ProPoint GNSS engine for enhanced GNSS yield and improved positioning accuracy when operating near trees and buildings. Its compact design makes the DA2 easy to transport and suitable for harsh environments.
The DA2 works with Trimble data collectors depending on the desired use, including the Trimble TSC7 and TSC5 controllers, and Trimble T7, T10x, and T100 tablets. The optional Trimble EM940 empower module adds local base station corrections.
For civil contractors, the Trimble Works subscription includes access to the Trimble Corrections Hub to deliver real-time kinematic accuracy and a range of Siteworks software modules. Trimble WorksManager software is also included in the subscription to connect job site equipment and simplify the transfer of survey data between the field and the office.
For building contractors, the Trimble Catalyst subscription combined with FieldLink software provides reliable GNSS.
The Trimble DA2 and Trimble Siteworks precise rover bundles are available via a Works subscription through the SITECH distribution channel. Trimble Catalyst and FieldLink are available through the BuildingPoint distribution channel.
