The FBI is now looking into an accident after a woman died while under police custody in Lowell. The troubling events leading up to her death were all caught on camera. The Lowell Sun reports the agency is checking whether any civil rights were violated by several police officers. Allysa Brame died last January while she was being held in a cell block. The cause of death was alcohol poisoning but an internal review found the police officers responsible for Brame did not check on her for more than an hour, a direct violation of department policy.
