All The Explosive Unravelings In New Episodes Of 10th Avenue
Politics tamfitronics
At some point, there needs to be an intervention for Akinloye where everyone drills into his brain that it’s just estate chairmanship and not World War III. Because, surely, things did not need to get so serious that he had to employ tricks from his mistress to taint an opponent’s image.
So far 10th Avenue has told the tale of love, betrayal, and politics with the stories of families living in the exclusive community. Akinloye’s story has been pivotal to the progression of the series. Despite his wife’s constant plea to throw in the towel, he further pushes his ambition, that is until his daughter is kidnapped.
In a shocking turn of events, the perfect facade of the Akinloyes soon drops as Anjola is revealed to be selling babies to wealthy people under the guise of helping less privileged mothers take care of their children. With Aregbesola armed with this information, Anjola is backed into a corner to take extreme measures to get her husband to step down.
Her plan soon backfires as her staged kidnapping of her own child, Jade, gives someone else access to kidnap her child. However, that person is no stranger to the Akinloyes as she’s Jade’s aunt, Rolake. Jade’s real mother was one of the girls that Anjola had promised to take care of their children. However, Rolake claims Anjola murdered her sister after. With all that has been revealed so far, this isn’t far-fetched.
Speaking of murder, Colette is about to commit a crime. Going around the estate with a ticking bomb in her head and a cheating husband she rightly suspects is cheating on her with their self-appointed therapist and friend, Akunna, Colette is about to do the absolute worst if her suspicions are confirmed. It’s about to happen soon.
Felix, on the other hand, is running through hoops to cover his affair when he could have stayed faithful, but he’s a man living in Lagos. They love the stress. After borrowing millions from the estate Godfather, Bawo Efete, Felix is drawn into money laundering because of his debt. He, however, cannot ask his wealthy wife for help because he borrowed the money to keep his infidelity under wraps.
Amidst the chaos is the association of maids, who kicked out Akinloye’s maid from their clique because she could not determine who the father of her unborn child was. Whether it was Taiye Aregbesola, the single estate chairman, who denied the pregnancy, or Shaun, the failed techpreneur who happens to also be sleeping with Rebecca, the Savage’s maid and the leader of the association. If we were to pull up the definition of messy, this situation would be a perfect description.
On the other hand, The Johnsons’ quest has a major breakthrough with Efe decrypting a file that points their investigation to Williams and Co, Colette’s family business. All Efe wants is to clear her father’s name and stop his execution, but there is her husband and CSO of the estate, Malik Johnson, helping his side chick hide the dead body of her abusive husband, who she accidentally killed while he was physically assaulting her.
10th Avenue continues to unravel the web of lies that intertwine the fates of the families in the estate, and it looks uglier by the second. Catch up on all the drama on Thursdays
