The Radford family are well-known across the country for being Britain’s biggest family – and for the Channel 5 documentary series that bears their name, Mum Sue, 49, and dad Noel, 53, famously don’t have any help from the government, relying solely on his income to feed, clothe and raise their brood, plus money from the TV show.
Having given birth to 22 children, Sue’s hands are full looking after their family, and doesn’t work, but their growing popularity and success has meant they can afford to truly live in style. Although the family did have quite a tight budget before they caught the attention of the media, they’ve since launched an incredibly successful YouTube channel, and rake in brand deals and paid promotions for their social media.
Their success has allowed the Radfords to seriously upgrade their lifestyle, and despite the parents saying they’ve spent over 1million raising their children, they can still afford to splash out on some lavish purchases.
Their huge 10-bedroom house in Morecambe, Lancashire is frequently featured on their joint Instagram account, with Sue and Noel giving their 404k followers a look into their hectic family life. They had hoped to move into a stunning farmhouse but it fell through with Sue saying: “I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason and I’m so glad he took it off the market now.”
Here, we take a look into the Radfords’ home upgrades, which range from a brand-new 80K Porsche to a garden filled with luxury items such as a huge hot tub and even an outdoor cinema.
Lifestyle Hot tub and outdoor cinema
The Radfords have racked up thousands of fans thanks to their popular YouTube channel and Instagram page where they often offer a sneak peek inside their fun-loving home. The pad now has its own bar, hot tub and outdoor cinema, which were new additions during an early Covid lockdown.
Lifestyle 6.5k fridge
Decking out their kitchen with the finest appliances, they were seen showing off their latest purchase which is a state of the art double door refrigerator worth 6.5k in June. The LG model comes with a fancy glass door showing off its contents inside and built-in ice maker and four big compartments to stock up with groceries.
But the feature that had all the kids hooked was the fancy light that comes on via a touch sensor. Posting to Instagram, some of the Radford brood were seen checking out the luxury fridge, with one of the kids showing his younger sibling how the light comes on if you bang on the door – and it goes off once you bang again.
Lifestyle New 30k Range Rover
Sue was treated to a swanky new Range Rover for her 46th birthday from husband Noel two years ago and shared snaps of the black car, which cost upwards of 30,000. The excited mum wrote on Instagram: Happy birthday to me. Im so incredibly lucky to have such an amazing hubby who works so hard for us all. I love you @noelradford.
Lifestyle New 80k Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Quartzite
Noel revealed two years ago that the family changed their Range Rover Discovery for something greener. He confirmed on Instagram that they now own a Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Quarzite, which can cost upwards of 80,000.
Lifestyle Stylish bathroom
Sue showed off her family’s gorgeous new bathroom to her followers on Instagram – and it looks like it belongs in a hotel. The renovated bathroom features exposed timber beams, modern lighting around the mirror and luxury brown cabinets that match the toilet and bath.
“Our new bathroom is finally finished. I absolutely LOVE it. We just need a new light and to get all the accessories for it which I’m a bit rubbish at choosing,” she said. The luxury doesn’t end there, as the double sink, glossy tiles and massive bath look worthy of a five-star hotel.
Lifestyle TV bed
Sue showed off her new double bed which has a frame concealing a built-in TV so that the couple can enjoy their favourite shows while snuggled up. She shared a snap of two of her youngest enjoying the benefits of the posh new bed writing simply: “And done.”
