WHILE many people think the festivities of the festive season have ended and people are now broke, Durban will show it’s the place to be for non-stop entertainment.
Durban is starting the year with the mother of all parties called the All-White Day Party to be held at Max’s Lifestyle in Umlazi, south of Durban on Saturday, 6 January.
The party is organised by Max’s Lifestyle, which said it’s aimed at starting the year on a high note and in the cleanest way.
The popular establishment was founded by Max Mnqadi. It’s CEO Zinhle Mqadi told Daily Sunthe party is to remind people from Durban who had fun elsewhere during the December holidays to come back home.
“We started the party in 2022 because we noticed that during the December holidays many people from Durban just travel to holiday destinations in other places, so the party is to remind them of their home and bring them back.
“As the party grows, people from all over the country attend it and everyone is welcome to join us and start the year on a high note,” she said.

She said the main reason their party is themed all white is because they want to start the year in a clean way, and there’s no colour that’s cleaner than white.
“The party has grown, and it’s boosting the economy of Durban and Umlazi as many people travel for the party and book Durban hotels for accommodation.
“We also hire many local people for this party, and that helps many families” she said.
Since the party was started in 2022, it’s been attended by Mzansi top celebrities including TV reality show Shauwn “Mam’Mkhize” Mkhize and many more.
Zinhle said the table packages are already sold out and general tickets will be sold at the gates.
Musicians such as DJ Tira, Dlala Thukzin, Sjava, and Blaq Diamond will share the stage, while the party will be hosted by MaMkhize, Somizi and many more.
