A legal practitioner and former spokesman of the Atiku/PDP 2023 Presidential Campaign Organisation, Daniel Bwala says he has left the Peoples Democratic Party and is “close” to rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He gave the hint while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, on Thursday night when he was asked if he is now a member of the ruling APC which he defected from.

In response, Bwala said; “I am not a member of the PDP. Yes, I have left the PDP. I am very close to joining APC”.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that Bwala once said he would accept an appointment from President Bola Tinubu if the offer were made.

He stated that though he would appreciate an appointment from Tinubu, he is not supporting the President because he is hoping for to get a government position.

The political analyst explained that adding value to the current APC-led administration has nothing to do with securing an appointment in government or not.

Bwala also clarified that despite his recent visit which generated controversy, President Tinubu has not promised him anything

He said; “If the president makes an offer of a position that I see that it will contribute to the development of his agenda, I will accept it.

“I will more than anything else appreciate it. It is not the appointment that I’m looking for to support him. I’m telling you eight years I supported Buhari, I was not a public official.

“You have to separate between those who do not have value and are cringing and crying for appointment and those who believe the value and what they contribute has nothing to do with whether you are appointed or not. But President Tinubu has not promised me anything”.
