KwaZulu-Natal police’s top brass issued a stern warning to officers to refrain from aligning themselves with politics or to be considered as active people of any political occasion.
The province’s police commissioner, Lieutenant-Traditional Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, talked about officers wishes to be apolitical and just “your complete time”.
All via a press briefing, Mkhwanazi also warned officers against campaigning for political events.
