Mumbai: Once again, politics seems to be heating up in Maharashtra regarding the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena spokesperson and MLA Dr. Manisha Kayande on Saturday asked the opposition’s questions whether Gujarat is in Pakistan. Kayinde’s statement came a day before the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislature. Even after the crushing defeat in the Maharashtra elections, the issue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue may be raised in the House along with the Parbhani violence by the opposition. Kayande said that the shortcomings left last time should be removed and a big statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be installed. Good work should be supported. Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had attacked over the Gujarat connection. Now Kayinde has hit back in his own way. Sanjay Raut is attacking Mahayuti after the defeat of MVA in Maharashtra. He has many times made allegations of irregularities in EVMs. Raut had said that a temple of EVMs should be built outside the Sangh headquarters in Nagpur.

Kayande said that Sanjay Raut should first decide whether he is the spokesperson of Uddhav Thackeray group or Congress, Sharad Pawar party.
