Veteran Comedian Dinky Doo Jr. has passed away at the age of 66.
His daughter confirmed the news through a heartfelt Facebook post on his official account. She wrote that the comedian died at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

“Family, Friends, Brethrens… This is his daughter speaking. I’m here to inform that daddy is gone 7:20 AM of July 2, 2024, he was pronounced dead. Please, all your prayers to my father and family for him to rest peacefully would be very appreciated like daddy would say, Thank God for everything that is happening.” (sic)
Dinky Doo’s Jr. brother, Artstrong Clarion, also shared the sad news on his social media page, expressing his grief and love for his late sibling.
“Fly High Kuya Dinky Doo Jr. May your Soul Spirit have a safe Ascension.. How do you say to Mami and Erpat and Otol Al and Mel… You lived a full life and we are so proud of you… Rest in Paradise. We all love you”

The cause of death has not been closed, but Dinky Doo had been battling diabetes and highblood pressure complications.
The family has requested privacy during this difficult time and has asked for prayers and well-wishes from friends and fans to honor Dinky Doo Jr.’s memory.
Dinky Doo Jr. began his acting career in 1986 with the film “Inday Inday sa Balitaw.” Known for his comedic timing and memorable performances, he often played the sidekick or the friend of the main character in various comedy and action films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Some of his notable works include “Small and Terrible” (1990), “Bala at Lipstik” (1994), and “Sayo Lamang” (1995).
