Jaron “Boots” Ennis is the IBF welterweight champion and one of the most talented fighters in boxing.
However, before he can prove his pound-for-pound credentials, the unbeaten American must first get through a rematch against mandatory challenger Karen Chukhadzhian on November 9.
The 12-round bout, plus undercard action, will be streamed live on DAZN.

Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs) soundly defeated Chukhadzhian by a 12-round unanimous decision in January 2023. Since that time, he has been upgraded to full champion and defended successfully against David Avanesyan.
Following that win, the initial plan was for Ennis to meet countryman and WBA counterpart Brian Norman Jr. in a unification fight, but that idea fell apart during early negotiations.
“My main focus right now is Karen Chukhadzhian and after I make a big statement Saturday night in knockout fashion, it’s undisputed. Bring me my belts,” said Boots at the final press conference.
“I’m going to have my fun and put on a show. I’m going to just be me and dictate the fight. It’s my ring, he’s in my world.”
One must question Chukhadzhian as a mandatory challenger. While the Ukrainian contender has won three fights since suffering his first professional defeat to Ennis, none of the opponents were world-rated.
He now finds himself going against an elite-level operator who won 12 out of 12 rounds against him less than two years ago.
