Bluepoch Games has just announced a major new update for Reverse: 1999, as version 2.0 is on the horizon. This comes with an exclusive collaboration with the Discovery Channel beginning November 14th, bringing new outfits, buildings, and events inspired by the media house. You can also catch news about the update on televisions worldwide as Discovery will air it on their lineup of channels.
Reverse: 1999’s version 2.0, titled Floor it! To the Golden City sees you join Matilda in a new journey through San Francisco’s vibrant, fast-paced 90s. you’ll meet new characters like Mercuria, a 6-star Spirit character who can be summoned under the Calming Hues in Frenzied Nights banner. For the collectors out there, new garments for Spathodea, Kanjira, and the 16-Bit Revelry series are also available in the Garment Shop.
The update has been divided into two phases, with the first one featuring an exciting line-up of limited-time events and rewards. The Halloween gift mail offers Clear Drops and growth materials, while the Bayside Beats I sign-in event will reward you with up to seven free pulls over the next few weeks. More rewards will keep showing up through the mail as well.
You can also take part in Mercuria’s Character Story, On the Thousandth Night, which offers Clear Drops and other growth materials to level up on completion. Special story events, like Anecdotes of Sotheby and La Source, are set to go live in a few days. Use these Reverse: 1999 codes to redeem goodies to stock up for this update!
The second phase of version 2.0 will bring even more content to the RPG. You can look forward to the introduction of J, a new 6-star character. Bayside Beats II will offer another sign-in event for extra pulls, while Midnight Mayhem rewards you with a free garment for Sputnik. The first 30 pulls for the Yearning of the Water banner will be available at a 20% discounted rate, making it easier to obtain Spathodea and Shamane.
