A TODDLER painter dubbed the “pint-sized Picasso” has been offered £250,000 for the canvas which launched his career.
Laurent Schwarz, two, is in the Monet since he started creating his abstract artworks — sometimes just with his fingers — last year.
Some 30 of his colourful pieces have been sold to collectors, fetching between £8,000 and £12,000 each.
Now a US buyer has reportedly offered a staggering $325,000 — the equivalent of £246,000 — for his debut piece “The Fingers”.
Mum Lisa, 32, from Bavaria, Germany, says more than 20,000 fans are hoping to buy one of his creations — while some turn up at their home.
She said: “The waiting list has grown incredibly long — over 20,000 people are on it.

“People are just huge fans, they’re even showing up at our doorstep, and Laurent receives fan mail daily.”
Lisa and husband Philipp, 43, discovered their son’s artistic talent by chance on holiday in Italy last year.
He would not leave the kids’ painting room, so they made him a studio at home.
Lisa shared his first work on Instagram, and was told by a New York art critic that he had “an exceptional talent”.

Laurent now starts his routine at 6am every day by announcing: “Mom, paint, paint.”
Lisa said money from the sales goes into a savings account so her son will be laughing all the way to the Banksy when he turns 18.
She added: “I’m terribly proud of him.”
