The London band – completed by Julia Ruzicka, Tom Fowler and Ben Dawson – haven’t performed together since 2005, a year after founding member Cameron Dean left the group.

But apparently, according to Frank, all it took was a pint to get the band back together.

Making the announcement on Instagram, he said: “In September 2005, the band Million Dead came to an end after playing their last show in Southampton.

“In March 2024, we all met up for a beer and realised we couldn’t really remember why we broke up.”

“So in 2025, to mark our 20th anniversary, all five members are going to be coming back together to play a handful of shows,” he added.

“We’re pretty excited, we hope you are too. See you next year.”

The band initially broke up stating the illusive reason of “irreconcilable differences within the band”, adding it was “impossible” for them to move forward as a group and they would “rather leave a good-looking corpse”.

Frank remains a popular musician, launching his own successful solo career, but now all five members of the group will be taking to the stage once more next year.

Dates are still yet to be announced, but it’s still enough for fans to get excited.

“This is bigger than Oasis” one fan declared.

Another added: “Never thought we’d see the day. Get your claws ready everybody.”

“I couldn’t get tickets to the last gig in 2005. I’m not missing this. When are tickets available?” begged another.

Others prayed that the shows would be extended beyond the UK to international cities, with one writing: “OMFG… please Italy!!!”  while others stated: “Please tell us there are going to be US shows?!?”

“need to get some merch out youll make a fortune off of me” joked another.

During their time as a band, Million Dead became indie label darlings, releasing albums A Song To Ruin in 2003, followed by 2005’s Harmony No Harmony before they broke up.

Turner has gone on to release nine albums solo, with his latest efforts peaking at number three in the UK charts.

At NYFW, Coofandy unveiled 40 diverse looks, embodying a jet-setting cosmopolitan sophisticate. From sleek suiting to casual summer looks, the collection reflected effortless nonchalance with an intentional edge.

My overall goal was to show the wide range of Coofandy’s offerings, said stylist Charlie Ward. “We wanted to highlight classic tailoring while also showcasing more casual or beach-ready looks. From start to finish, it was about versatility—pieces that could elevate any wardrobe while being easy to wear.”

Sean O’Prydressed in a sharp white tuxedo jacket to close the show, perfectly captured Coofandy’s modern elegance. “Sean is always a joy to dress because he understands what the clothes are trying to say. It was an obvious choice to have him open and close the show,”** Ward added.

Ekouaer, known for its stylish sleepwear, made its mark with 20 womenswear looks that transition effortlessly from day to night. Drawing inspiration from the off-duty city girl in the Riviera, the collection blended playful elements like flip flops and wide-leg jeans with luxurious textures of silk and satin.

“Helena was a dream to work with,” said stylist Matthew Mazur.”She knew exactly what she wanted, and we elevated her look with bold accessories like a lace catsuit, a standout piece made exclusively for her.”Christensen, dressed in a layered silk PJ set over a lace bodysuit, captured the spirit of the Ekouaer woman—effortless, chic, and confident. “It was all about taking something cozy and giving it a bold twist,” Christensen said.

Mazur further explained the vision behind the collection: “I wanted to explore how sleepwear and loungewear could transition into daywear, making the pieces versatile, no fuss, and chic. It’s about blending comfort with style in a way that feels natural.”

To ensure a successful and seamless New York Fashion Week show, the brands partnered with China Fashion Collective, a New York-based agency known for high-profile fashion shows and helping international brands break into the US market.”The vision was to showcase not only the premium nature of the brands but also their accessibility, but also highlighting their versatility in everyday wear,” said Yuhan Liuformer award-winning journalist and Co-Founder of China Fashion Collective, who led the NYFW production effort.

Game Informer has announced that it is closing down after 33 years.

The publication, owned by US retailer GameStop, started back in August 1993, but has announced its closure via a short post on social media. It states, “After 33 thrilling years of bringing you the latest news, reviews, and insights from the ever-evolving world of gaming, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Game Informer” (although sources have reportly told My City that nobody at Game Informer wrote the announcement themselves).

It seems that the closure had come as a bit of a shock to the team too, with online content director Brian Shea stating “My heart is broken” as he quoted the news. Similarly, magazine contrent director Kyle Hilliard described the situation as “A frustrating turn of events”.

As reported by Kotaku, it seems GameStop leadership had abruptly informed all Game informer staff that the publication would close down with immediate effect, with all staff receiving severance terms. One employee was even in the middle of a work trip when the team was informed.

The news comes after a heavy round of layoffs occuring in 2022, after which none of the original Game Informer team remained at the publication. Further redundancies had been made in previous years, largely as a direct result of GameStops’ declining financial results.

The publication’s final release is issue number 367, the outlet’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard cover story.

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the Game Informer closure.
