At some level of Saturday’s Single-A Florida Tell League sport between the Bradenton Marauders and the visitng St. Lucie Mets, the home group held a promotion sponsored by a neighborhood museum of science and nature.

Because it looks, one critter took that promotion somewhat too a long way.

With the Mets up 20 in the cease of the 2nd inning, play was rapid halted by a turtle scurrying round the outfield.

“We contain some form of creature on the self-discipline,” the game’s announcer said in video posted to social media by the Marauders. “A squirrel, or a rodent, I dont know. What attain we contain there? Or no longer it is a turtle.”

Bradenton left fielder Esmerlyn Valdez signaled for any individual to return catch the surprisingly fleet-appealing turtle sooner than the Marauders’ two other outfielders joined in on the poke.
