Royal Family LIVE: Meghan devastated as ‘she can’t understand why people don’t admire her’

Lifestyle

Meghan Markle is struggling to understand why her output is not generating any respect and admiration amongst the general public, according to a royal expert.

Earlier this year it appeared that she was working on numerous projects, from launching her new brand American Riviera Orchard to producing two new shows for Netflix and releasing a new podcast.

However she still seems to be finding the backlash hard as she reportedly feels constantly criticised and as if she is “unfairly picked on”.

Tom Quinn claimed to the Mirror US: “There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned – she loves media attention and hates the fact that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.

“Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special.

“She has reached the point now where she thinks that anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticised. Like her husband, she feels that people are unfairly picking on her – she cannot understand why people don’t admire her work.”

Bizarre rule that sees MP held hostage at Buckingham Palace during State Opening

The King and Queen were in Westminster for the State Opening of Parliament today, but there is one tradition that may have puzzled those watching on TV.

Mrs. Samantha Dixon MBE MP, Vice-Chamberlain of the Household, was today “held hostage” until King Charles returned to Buckingham Palace as part of a strange tradition that dates from the 1600s.

It began following Guy Fawkes’ failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. This took place when he and his supporters planned to blow up the Palace of Westminster when King James I arrived.

Queen Camilla’s title she never used which is now used by Princess Kate

Before Camilla became Queen she was known as the Duchess of Cornwall, however there was another royal title she could technically use which now belongs to Princess Kate.

Upon her marriage to King Charles, when he was still Prince of Wales, Camilla became the Princess of Wales.

But she decided not to use the title publicly, presumably out of respect to the late Princess Diana, who also famously used that title.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘perfect way back’ into Royal Family exposed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could use Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as a way back into the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

Speaking on GB News back in January, host Patrick Christys told royal expert Kinsey Schofield that the pair could “surely use the grandkids as a way back” into the family. To which, she agreed that this would be the “perfect” way back into the Firm.

Ms Schofield said: “If Harry did want a way back in he could use the excuse that despite his personal beef with King Charles, he wants his children to have a relationship with their grandfather, it would be the perfect way back wouldn’t it?”

Princess Kate’s wish for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to avoid becoming ‘spares’

Princess Kate and Prince William may ensure their younger children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis do not feel like spares by encouraging them to work outside the Royal Family.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine: “William and Kate must be acutely aware of the problems for a royal spare. They have already shown that they have a different and modern attitude to bringing up royal children and I’m sure they will do everything to make Charlotte and Louis feel every bit as special, loved and valued as George.

“I imagine they will encourage Louis to explore life outside the royal fold… it could be the military, but it could also be working in the charity world or whatever he finds appealing after his education is finished.”

Lip reader on King Charles’s blunt demand as he helps struggling Camilla in harsh weather

A lip reader has given an insight into King Charles’s interactions with Queen Camilla during their royal visit to Jersey and Guernsey.

On their first day in Jersey they were plagued by wet weather, as they both held umbrellas to protect themselves while Camilla also donned a raincoat.

The Queen was caught in a struggle, trying to manage her umbrella and slide her right arm into her coat sleeve, leading to an apparently exasperated Charles stepping in to assist.

According to lip reader Jacqui Press, who spoke to the Daily Mail, Charles instructed Camilla: “‘Move your arm through the back.”

On the other hand it is not known exactly who was on the 80 person guest list.

The incident was famously depicted in the last series of The Crown, although a fictionalised version.

‘Anxious’ Queen Camilla’s six-word response to meeting Prince William for first time

Queen Camilla and Prince William may get along well now, but she was apparently nervous to meet him for the first time when he was still a schoolboy.

William had been returning home from Eton to York House in London for a weekend visit.

He returned home early for their first meeting as royal author Penny Junor claims Charles approached Camilla and said “he’s here” adding “let’s just get one with it”. Camilla and William were then said to have been left alone for half an hour to get acquainted.

After the encounter, Junor claims Camilla had a seven-word response. She said: “I need a gin and tonic.”
